Good pets web sites that sale live saltwater fish ????

does anyone knows any???


i live in a quenns NY and there is only 1 pet shop that sells saltwater fish and its pretty expensive i tried lookinf at petco but there isnt anything that i want


i have an empty 29 gallon tank that just finished cycling and i want to buy a lionfish ( radiata lionfish or other small lionfish and a leaf scorpionfish)

I've used them before and they are great. I had problems with some of the Anthias I got and they gave me my money back for all 3, plus shipping (so I only had to pay for the purple firefish). They asked a few questions (regarding my levels and water type), but didn't ask for the fish back or any pictures, I was surprised.





I've purchased from ThatPetPlace retail store before and they want pictures for proof of a dead fish. They will give you your money back, but I found it was a pain to deal with as I paid in cash. I was given a credit, I went to use said credit and they couldn't find it on file. Finally after a month of arguing, I got a check in the mail for money back. I wasn't impressed, but they are nice retail store.

Shipping costs varies but it's always overnight usually FEDEX, sometimes UPS.





Avoid the pet superstores for buying any live animals. Most pet superstores simply don't have knowledgeable staff and many stores have sick fish or fish that look well when you buy them but then get sick in one or two days and if you go back to the store you see all the fish sick so you know it's not you but the store.





If you can get to northern NJ there are many reputable salt water only fish shops and it's not that far from NYC.
